Tractor Trailer Hitch

Over the years we have published several ideas for attaching a hitch ball to a
tractor, which makes it easy to move trailers around a farmstead. But this one
from Britt Fontenot of Westlake, La., has the advantage of being simple. To make
a drawbar with ball attached, he used a 40-inch-long piece of 4-inch angle iron,
which bolts to the bottom arms of a 3-point hitch. The ends are cut to prevent
roll. Now Fontenot can easily attach a trailer to a tractor without leaving the
tractor seat.
